Better wireless, voice, and mobile internet in Margate, Ventnor and Atlantic City? We hope so. The digital monopoly known as Comcast could certainly use some competition and some motivation to improve their so-so services. Looks like a company called Hammer Fiber is stepping up and will try to make that a reality.
Hammer Fiber has launched an highly anticipated residential service program for Ventnor.
Hammer Fiber. Better Web for Margate, Ventnor & Atlantic City.
Hammer Fiber does this through a combination of fiber optic backbone and proprietary wireless technology. In the near future, Hammer Fiber will soon add voice and video services through the use of their wireless technology. They want to bring better web access to the South Jersey shore, a region plagued by a broadband monopoly, and under-developed service offerings.
Hammer Fiber has opened it’s first Hammer Store in Ventnor.
The location is a distribution hub for service installation, customer support. It also works as well as a public showroom where potential subscribers can experience the entire suite of Hammer Fiber products, just as they would in their own homes or business.
The location is inside the popular, and very busy Ventnor Plaza on Wellington Ave, next to ACME, Radio Shack & Island Gym.
